When I started training with Sam, I began to realise how stagnant I had become in the gym. Sam’s knowledge of exercise was clear to see and he was able to adapt to my needs when training. The confidence I grew over the 8 weeks was incredible; I now feel I am able to push my limits further. Sam is without doubt the best PT I’ve ever trained with. He knows how to get the best out of people, push them but build a great relationship so that you trust him. He takes the time to go through a plan on how you can achieve your goals and holds you accountable for it. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

Sam is understanding and flexible with his approach to your fitness goals. I am still at the start of what I feel like is a long journey ahead of me but Sam, in the last few weeks has changed my mindset, encouraged me to not give up, and really looked in-depth at my diet to ensure I am balancing it in a way which is sustainable.
I really enjoy his work outs as I can feel myself getting better and better every week and the scales and tape measure are starting to show results.

Before signing up to Train and Sustain Coaching I had been out of the gym / fitness environment for around 2 years! During that time I had built up a whole list of bad habits and an “I’ll start tomorrow” attitude... 

So when I finally took the plunge and committed to starting both the exercise plan and the nutrition plan that he had set for me, the first hurdle was to overcome the psychological barrier. Training with a professional made it a lot easier to overcome this and for the first few sessions it was about building confidence and correct technique in the gym. And quickly after 1 or 2 weeks I was back in the rhythm of things and felt like I could push a lot more both with Sam and on my own.

I have been training with Sam for the past 6 months and can honestly say I have enjoyed every session.  Sam was able to tell how much he could push me and gave me encouragement on every session to believe in my own ability. Sam makes every session different which keeps it interesting and works many different muscles (some in places I never knew existed!) I have noticed a massive difference in my posture and muscle definition since training with Sam, and I have gained so much knowledge too, not just with my workouts, but also about my eating habits and food choices. I can not thank Sam enough for helping me find my passion for training again, for teaching me to train in the correct way and to really have lots of fun doing it!

Sam has such a positive approach to health, fitness and well-being and has helped me massively on my journey to achieving my goals. As a business owner my schedule can be all over the place but with the flexible system he’s put together I get to enjoy the many benefits of having a coach.
